My next and last stop in Australia was Byron Bay. There was so much anticipation for this place. Everyone I had talked to about traveling through Australia said that Byron was a must. After an overnight bus from Sydney I arrived and the weather was absolutely perfect. I dropped my bags immediately and made a mad dash to the beach. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Mountains, rolling hills and a gorgeous lighthouse as you look left to right. Crystal clear aqua blue ocean water and white sandy beaches with plenty of activities to keep busy. The town had a really a cool chilled out vibe too with lots of sweet little crafts and clothing shops. For my three days here I received some great weather! Managed to get a few days of surfing and a few hours of some skateboarding. I did a great walk up to the lighthouse and really had a chance to lay back and relax. This was by far my favorite place in Australia, but I’m ready to head over New Zealand for Christmas and see my family and friends! Enjoy the pictures and Happy Holidays!
