SYRACUSE got WOPPED

Time to go home and recharge the battery before I head off to Australia. It was really nice to be back in Syracuse. Family is where the heart is! I spend most of my days planning my itinerary for upcoming trips and getting outside as much as possible. I played a lot of tennis and got up with some gym time. It’s great being home for the holidays too. I was able to hang out with a lot of friends and catch up with what’s going on in their lives. Also, I as able to get the ever so rare family time. Thanksgiving was amazing! For those of you who don’t know I’m an eater and I definitely got my fill on that Thursday. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to snap too many pictures, but I’ll leave you with my favorite. Off too Australia shortly! Have a couple of tracks that I got into while I was home. Take a listen!

JACKSON HOLE, WY got WOPPED

After a weekend in Chicago it was time to go farther west to Jackson Hole, WY to see a SLU of kids I went to college with. Being my first time out West, I was immediately drawn to the Grand Teton Mountains. They were just as impressive as the pictures. Also I was amazed at the sky. I couldn’t believe how big and clear it was. I felt like I was on a totally different planet. Everything was a golden wheat color and there was so much space to explore. Millions of pines trees hugged the mountains and closer to the peaks the mountain was jagged and rocky. When I arrived there was no snow at all, but as you will see in my pictures, the snow came quickly. Jackson Hole had the country’s highest cumulative snowfall last year, which is a big reason this spot is the snow sports mecca! The town of Jackson was much smaller then I expected, but it was interesting to see the western culture. Living in NYC for some time I didn’t see too many cowboys, so it was cool to actually see one. During my days, I did a lot of activities such as hiking in Grand Teton National Park and longboarding and biking around town. Unfortunately Yellowstone National Park was closed to the public for the winter, so I will have to save it for next time. During the nights, we did some more partying! What else can you do in a ski town, right? Anyways, I was really lucky to have my good friends Galen and LB who gave me a place to stay, introduced me to a bunch of new people, and showed me around. It is a very fun place to explore and I had an unforgettable time! Check out this remix by Flux Pavilion and the group Capital Cities. My boy Galen has some great taste in electronic music. Check it out below.
